The 20th Dynasty and Third Intermediate Period (TIP)

Special Online Edition

(under construction)

I will be posting more information on this part of the revision. For the time being, it may be that the incomplete chronological charts for this period will be of use to some.

To explain briefly the calendar set-up, years BCE are our standard Julian/Gregorian years. Years LM are counting from the Exodus, and begin on the first day of Nisan (roughly March-April). Years in Egypt have been reckoned to begin in the summer, and while this is not entirely proven yet, differences based on other calendars should be minimal.

A comparison with the chronological charts of the kings of Israel and Judah may be worthwhile.
